Tanz Kaputt Poster Design

This is my new poster design for my friends from We Are Salzburg. Tanz Kaputt is the new name for their partieseries at the small Club Denkmal in Salzburg City. They asked me for a simple logo design, so I made a bit grungy looking round logo in black and white. Afterwards they asked me again if I can made a poster for their next party. It was a long journey until I was happy with the end result. At the beginning I’ve got no single idea for a proper design and this was frustrating. Finaly I’ve got the idea with thy pyramid and the 3D chrome looking logo in space. The energy of the Pyramid should split the logo apart, because “Kaputt” means broken. I wanted something “huge and mighty”, so I guess I needed round about 25 hours until I have finished the design. The Poster size is DIN A2, so it was necessary to use only high res images. You can imagine how big the psd file is. If you like it like I do, post some comments, would be great!
